Field Engineer
You are a highly skilled individual. You are a go-to person for day-to-day hardware and software questions. You love solving technical problems and can work with a broad range of people – from highly technical co-workers to non-technical customers and end-users. And you don’t like sitting behind a desk.
If this sounds like you, then keep reading because we’re searching for you.
We are Gecko Networks, a Milwaukee based IT solutions provider that offers small businesses superior outsourced server administration and management with a proactive, human touch.
As we grow our operations, we are looking to add a Field Engineer to our team of talented techies.
The Gecko Way
Here at Gecko, our mission is to use technology to make our clients’ lives easier. Think about it, doctors, nurses, scientists, architects, engineers, administrators and receptionists all just want to do their work without suffering technological drama. Many of them work in small firms that can’t afford to have dedicated IT.
That’s where you come in. As a member of a small team, you’ll be the face of Gecko – conducting regular customer visits, being dispatched to complete onsite tasks at multiple locations, providing the best IT experience possible.
With your expertise you’ll keep projects moving forward, solve any problems that arise, discuss issues with clients without getting too “techie,” integrate with customers’ teams and become the go-to person for day-to-day IT needs – providing our client with systems that allow them to work harder, serve their customers more efficiently and have fewer tech-related frustrations.
Your Life at Gecko
While Gecko is growing, we are still a small company – with high expectations, accountability, camaraderie and no politics. Your work is central to our mission and success. Your expertise, wisdom, and creativity will be praised and your commitment to excellence and accountability will be rewarded with trust, respect and responsibility.
As part of the Gecko Family, we will provide you with:
- Opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
